3.5 weeks

Time keeps rolling by...although it seems to be going much slower these days haha.


Thats what tends to happen as I get closer and closer to the show...



I feel pretty good still. My energy is steady-I do start to get tired during the day, but for the most part, I'm good.


Sleep is so important during prep. I aim for 7-8 hours a night. I don't usually nap during the week but try to slip on in there on saturday and sundays.

getting there...

Hey all!


getting closer and closer...4.5 weeks to go.



I'm still doing ok-energy is up and I'm in the zone. It didn't hurt that I was given a cheat meal this weekend by my coach, Hany. Nothing too bad..sushi (with the rice of course!) and ice cream...which, incidently, I could eat everyday, all day long. Its my fav. Just vanilla. Well, vanilla with hot fudge and nuts is better.

Metabolism is moving!

good morning!



Down to 131.5 this am-my metabolism is definately moving. But its a little too early for it to move that quickly so I'm hoping coach Hany will perscribe a cheat meal! and what would that be....hmmmm


Well, my ideal would be sushi (but with rice!) or Italian. Have to have some dessert too! I'm into the frozen yogurt thing at the moment. We have these places around here where you make your own!

hey all!


k...getting tougher, but looking better. I'm starving! But in all actuality, I'm not really THAT calorie restricted quite yet. It just that my metabolism is starting to move faster-good thing.



This is how my diet looks currently...


meal 1: 4 oz chicken (or 3/4 cup egg whites) 1/2 cups oats (I sneak in a handful of frozen berries too!)


Meal 2: 4 oz mahi or tilapia and 3.5 oz sweet pot


Meal 3: 4 oz salmon or chicken 3.5 oz red pot and spinach

Competition Suit!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday...I met with my competition suit designer (Caroline Masse cc swimwear) to chose my color and stones. Caroline is awesome to work with BTW and she does a beautiful job!



I chose deep purple with lighter purple and pink stones. Its going to be amazing. I was thumbing through InStyle magazine during one of my carido sessions and I saw that purple is the "in" color this fall! I had a purple suit two years ago for the Arnold...or Olympia...can't remember...a
