Well.....Sacramento is two weeks from today! I am getting very excited. I am putting the last ( I hope ) of the Swarovski crystals on my suit......it is pretty blinged out. I am feeling really good.....not feeling deprived in anyway...as far as food…

I am headed to the gym,have to do that 60 mnutes of cardio...then I will hit my chest...I think that is it today should be a rest day.

Profile Information

About me?
I have an absolute passion for fitness. I have always been athletic but in the past 5 years fitness has really become one of my first loves. I am a certifited personal fitness trainer, owning my own business. Owning my own fitness business allows me the time to put my family first. I have a very loving, supportive husband who is also my best friend! Between the two of us we have four amazing, wonderful, witty children!!
I am new on the Figure scene.....having gotten my first amatuer competition under my belt on May 2nd, 2009. I was very proud of myself to get up on that stage let alone placing third in the Tall division and 3rd in the Masters division. I am hooked........FIGURE ROCKS! I believe it is the fitness wave of the future, ever evolving. And I plan to be a part of it for as long as I possibley can! I met some amazing ladies that I would have never met if it had not been for that competition!
I plan to keep forging my path in figure and set some personal goals to achieve. And I WILL!!
What I like to do?
Love , love , love to weight train.......especially with my husband. He is very empowering and positive! He has an amazing physique himself!
Spending time as a family is very important to me. You get one shot at raising your kids......it goes by fast!!
I love to be outdoors.....anything outdoors. Walking, hiking, running, being on the water........even just sitting and realizing how blessed I really am to have another day on this earth to live with the ones that I love!
What is your favorite body part?
Legs and glutes
If you found a million dollars, what would you do with it?
First I would turn it in....if nobody claimed it I would make sure our kids were set up for college then I would give to my Church and charities. Build a nice log house in the mountains near a lake!!! Live life like I do now-beautifully!!!
What frustrates you more than anything?
People who tear others down!! Knowing that there are hundreds of thousand of children that live in abusive homes!! People who are cruel to animals!!
What is your favorite and least favorite exercise?
I love working my legs and glutes-so probably squats. I have learned to also like do assisted pullups! That was hard to come by!
How many times a day do you eat?
Depends on how busy my day is. I try to eat more smaller meals......I would say on the average 4-5 times a day.
How many times a week do you train?
I really try to be in the gym for at least 5 days. On days I am not in the gym I still go for a walk or do some exercises at home. It just makes me feel better to be moving. I am not a "sitter"
Do you have a story you want to share?
When I was at my very first Figure competition May 2, 2009....I had one of the greatest experiences of my life. I entered the competition for my own personal reasons, a goal I had set for myself was that when I turned 40 (last August) I would step outside my little "box" and DO something I hadn't done before. I signed up knowing that I could not back out if I had paid fees and got my card. I never signed up for the sole purpose of winning the competition....it was bigger than that for me....I just wanted to get myself into prime condition and step on that stage. I met some of the most amazing, kind, helpful women on that day. Also in the process of getting there I had an amazing Figure Coach, Karin Kimura show me some of the ropes!! God Bless her!!! She so rocks Figure!!!! What a professional.
Anyway.....it was so empowering to be surrounded by athletic women who cheered for one another and supported total strangers!! I never knew these women previous to showing up that day!! They were unbelievabley helpful and giving of there experience and time!!! As I stood on stage in the final rounds and heard my name twice called for third place.....and got handed those two trophies......I was outside myself! Then in a split second as they called the names of the 2nd place and 1st place winners..........I was even more overjoyed for them!!! They were so deserving and so gracious! True Champions!!!!! I realized that I was a winner in ever way just for having the opportunity to have stood side by side with some totally rockin', amazing, gracious, and beautiful people........I am talking about their inside beauty! Yes , they rocked their bods too!!!
The whole day was exhausting and empowering at the same time. To look out in the audience and see my husband beaming with pride and to hear him yelling for me put the icing on the rice cake!!!!

Two Weeks To Go

Well.....Sacramento is two weeks from today! I am getting very excited. I am putting the last ( I hope ) of the Swarovski crystals on my suit......it is pretty blinged out. I am feeling really good.....not feeling deprived in anyway...as far as food goes. I keep myself pretty competition ready throughout the year....so if I decide to do a competition I am only about a 5 lb variance. I don't ever want to have to be in the situation where I am miserable training for a show.

Got ot keep those suckers lifted!!!

I have been working real hard and making changes to my physique.....readying myself for Sac Nov 7. The countdown is on! I feel great and have made some great gains. Keeping on that cardio!!!! My energy level is good and I am very positive and excited!!!
