I am persevering through my 6month Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietitian!!! While competing in NPC bikini division. I chose dietetics because I believe that the perfect combination of proper diet and physical fitness can change lives. I just got back from Jr Natls where I placed 3rd in my class. It was sooo fun to meet others who put so much energy into improving themselves. I am young and free-spirited and an adrenaline junkie. I am also very competitive and strong-willed.
What I like to do?
In my free time I love to be outdoors and being active. I like to take my dogs hiking or 4wheeling or to the lake. I love to meet new people, esp those in the fitness industry. People I can discuss training, nutrition and motivation with. I have traveled some, but would like to go all over the world; greece, fili, austraila, ireland, etc...
What is your favorite body part?
My butt! My husband LOVES it and I get great feedback from judges about my "tight gluts". Nice butts and broad backs are my favorite bodyparts on a man.
If you found a million dollars, what would you do with it?
TRAVEL. I would see the world. I would also donate towards coordinated education programs, such a Team Nutrition and Head Start to combat childhood obesity in the school systems.
What frustrates you more than anything?
I am frustrated by rudeness, people who lack basic human respect for one another. I also get frustrated with patients or clients who cannot be motivated toward positive change. I sometimes wish that I could cram fitness down some throats!
What is your favorite and least favorite exercise?
Lunges KILL, but I have long, lean legs to bulk up. So the rule is LUNGES, LUNGES, LUNGES! My favorite exercise is anything for abs. I am addicted to the burn!
How many times a day do you eat?
I eat at least 6 times a day. I usually get hungry within 2 hours.
How many times a week do you train?
4-6 days of resistance training and 5-7 days of cardio. Just depends on my split. Except recovery weeks after competitions, Thanksgiving and Christmas, of course!
Do you have a story you want to share?
I don't have a story, but my message would be reveal to as many people as possible the benefits of healthy lifestyle to reduced risk of CVD, HTN, DM, osteoporosis, lower stress, improved sex life, increased confidence, etc
Hi Leigh Ann! I just joined tight curves and this is all new to me...making a page and trying to figure things out. I just started training and going into my 3rd week with Shannon Dey team bombshell. I so love to work out and am so excited to finally find a group of women with the same goal. Health, happiness and being strong. Good luck to you and your pics are fabulous! Keep plugging away!!
